Ok, forget my previous fluffing sob story about determination and willpower. Here's something a LOT more serious.

Miku, our beloved Vocaloid diva is getting her videos on YouTube deleted en masse, which had led many fans to suspect that it is being staged by an organisation. The known cooporate/group names that are claiming a copyright on the YouTube Hatsune Miku videos are commonly known as "Media Interactive," "Junichi Sasa," and variations on those names. They are mainly targetting her videos with English lyrics, as in translations as well as translations in other languages.

Crypton Future Media, the company that Hatsune Miku belongs to, said, "Our company has confirmed that this is happening. We are now gathering information on the situation." There is a Japanese company named Media Interactive, but it has not been verified that it has any connection with the copyright violations reports.

"Media Interactive", and "Junichi Sasa" have no rights to file a copyright claim, as the songs are made by the niconico users(unless otherwise stated), such as 40m-P, akuno-P, manbo and etc, as well as pixiv artists such as Tama Songe and Suzunosuke, who have said nothing about their work being posted on YouTube. So, why should "Media Interactive" and/or "Junichi Sasa", interfere?

There has been mass speculation that it is being done by Koreans(no offense), as Hatsune Miku's popularity appears to have a much larger fanbase than those of their K-POP stars. Also, it has been observed that the Korean songs made by SeeU, a Korean vocaloid, have not been reported, or filed for copyright as of now.

It is a certain, and well-known fact that 'Disappearance of Hatsune Miku' is a popular, and very sad song for all of her fans, thus, another certain fact would be that her fans would not want Hatsune Miku to disappear from YouTube, which is the more well-known version of the Japanese Nico Nico Douga(NND), as English and Japanese users alike can navigate said website easier, than on NND, and live-streamed events do not have comments overflowing on the screen. Thus, YouTube is a popular alternative for Vocaloid fans to show their love for their beloved diva.

Fans have already put up a campaign wiki in a bid to stop the videos from being further claimed by copyright, and are still on a constant vigil. Below is the English translated website for the 'SAVE MIKU' campaign:
